Donald R. Whitt

WHITT, Donald Ray, 67 of Dayton passed away at Sycamore Hospital Sunday, March 19, 2006 after a lengthy illness. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Martha Ann; parents, Carl & Mary Whitt of Dayton; sister, Viola Dressler of Dayton. He is survived by his loving wife Katherine; son, Ricky (Pat) Whitt of Virginia Beach, VA; three grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren; sisters, Phyllis (Richie) Lipscomb of Indiana, Polly Boyer of Dayton; and countless nieces and nephews. After serving in the Air Force for 12 years, Don retired from Delphi after 27 years. Friends and family may call from 1-3:00PM Wednesday, March 22, 2006 at the Newcomer Funeral Home (3940 Kettering Blvd.). Graveside services will be held 10:00AM Thursday, March 23rd at Forest Hill Memorial Gardens, Tipp City, Rev. Jerry Carter, officiating.
