Donald L. Pettitt, age 74, of Xenia, passed away December 23, 2023. He was born March 14, 1949 in Dayton, Ohio. Donald was preceded in death by his parents: Chester Pettitt; mother, Mary Etta Douglas; son, Donnie Pettitt; and sister, Cenna Brewer.
Donald is survived by brother, John Pettit; sisters: Rose Connell (Jim) and Lillie Kelley; daughter, Ann Rose Wright (Jessie); step-daughter, Sherri Huffman; grandchildren: Hunter and Harley; many other family and friends.
Donald was a proud member of the Masonic Lodge. He loved to hunt and fish. Donald was a Christian and was a member of Pathway Church in Fairborn.
Visitation will be held from 5-7 pm on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, where the funeral service will begin at 7:00 pm. Donald will be laid to rest at Medway Cemetery on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at 11:00 am. Contributions may be made in Donald's memory to any cancer organization of your choice.
