OSBORNE, Donald E., age 84, of Dayton, passed away Sun., Oct. 22, 2006 at Hospice of Dayton. He was preceded in death by his first wife Betty in 2002 and 1 son Michael in 2005. Donald is survived by his second wife Gladys, to whom he was married 14 months; 2 sons David Osborne & wife Mary of Huber Heights and Phil Osborne & wife Donna of Kettering; 2 grandchildren Matthew Osborne & wife Amanda and Miranda Osborne; 2 great-grandsons Logan and Hunter Osborne and numerous other dear family members. He was a faithful member and a loyal trustee for over 50 years at the First General Baptist Church where he lead singing, visited the ill, was a teacher and a bus driver. Donald dedicated his life to the service of his Lord. He also was an Army veteran of W.W.II and retired from Dayton Electric Service after 37 years of service. Donald will be greatly missed and forever remembered by his family and those who knew him. Funeral services 11 A.M., Thurs., Oct. 26, 2006 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Pastor Mark Snyder officiating. Interment Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
