Donald McFadden, age 83, of Huber Heights, Ohio, passed away on December 2, 2022. He was born in Paintsville, KY on July 4, 1939 to the late Frank and Elizabeth McFadden. In addition to his parents, Don was preceded in death by his grandson: Jaret Lakes and his brother: Bruce McFadden; and brother in law: Roger Long.
Don is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Barb; children: Donna (Rex) Carey and June (Bill) Lakes; grandchildren: Chad (Meghan) Carey, Brooke (Graham) Long, and Josh (Krista) Lakes; great grandchildren: Caleb Carey, Madison Hensley, and Oliva Hobbs; sister: Judy Long; sister in law: Kathy (Tony) Laberta; niece: Alyssa Laberta; nephews: Joe (Diane) Long and Jeff (Merrily) Long; and many other relatives and friends.
Don enjoyed fishing and bowling, and watching baseball and football. He loved his family very much and was the world's best Papaw. He will be dearly missed.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2022 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at the Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Donald's name to Hospice of Dayton.
