Donald Lee Noble
Age 72, of Riverside, passed away on Saturday, September 5, 2009, at The Widows Home of Dayton after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Benton O. and Dorothy Jean (Overholts) Noble.
He leaves behind his wife of the past 44 years, Beverly (Sheehan) Noble and numerous nieces and nephews throughout the U. S. including four local nieces and nephews; Melody (Rod) Davis, Keith Sheehan, Mark (Lisa) Sheehan, and April Cook, Bob Cook; one step-niece, Alma (Kenny) Meinshot.
Don was very proud to have been a Marine. He was 17 years old when he was wounded in the Korean War. Later, he was assigned to the Pentagon and taught martial arts at Quantico, VA. He was also in the U.S. Navy and served aboard the USS Monrovia. Don was a long-time member of the Goldwing Road Riders motorcycle organization and rode his Goldwing year-round. He worked for various trucking companies as a dispatcher/dock foreman and was last employed as Traffic Manager for The Dolly Toy Company. He was a friend of Bill W. for more than 25 years.

The family will be receiving friends from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., Wednesday at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Interment with military honors will follow at Willow View Cemetery.
