Donald L. Ledbetter
December 21, 1929 — January 24, 2015
Donald L. Ledbetter, age 85 of Dayton passed away Saturday, January 24, 2015 at Hillspring of Springboro. He was born December 21, 1929 in E.St. Louis, Illinois the son of Jack and Hazel Ledbetter. He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Alfreda Zankl, a brother, Jack Ledbetter, and a sister, Judy Ledbetter.
Donald is survived by his three daughters, Sharon Slusher, Diane Shipp, and Jackie Bryant; a son, Patrick Ledbetter; a sister, Betty Gordon; 5 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren. He is also survived by numerous family and friends.
A Catholic Mass will be held Saturday, January 31, 2015 at 10:00 am at St. Henry's Catholic Church (6696 North Springboro Pike, Dayton, OH 45449)
Visitation will be Friday evening from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, Ohio 45439).
Burial will take place at the Dayton National Cemetery at a later date.
