Donald Joseph Evans

Donald Joseph Evans, of Beavercreek, Ohio, passed away peacefully Thursday, August 20th. He was born July 9, 1936 in Ovando, MT. Son of the late Dan and Esther (Brenner) Evans.

Don was preceded in death by his loving wife of 50 years, Nancy Evans; brothers, Charles Evans, Hue Evans and Alfred Evans; He is survived by his sister, Mary Evans and brother, James Evans; sister in-laws, Karen Wolf and Helen Frongner; sons Rob Evans (Nancy) and Mark Evans (Lehla); daughter Cindy Caudill (Greg); grandchildren Joshua, Marah, Gregory and Sebastian; several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Don was a physicist and retired from WPAFB. Graduated from Montana State, served in the Air Force and did his PhD work at Ohio State. He was happiest tinkering around on projects, helping others and spoiling his grandchildren and golden retrievers. There will be a private, informal gathering of friends and family.
