Donald Allen Heintzman, age 77, passed away on Monday, September 4, 2023. He was born on April 3, 1946 in Cincinnati, OH.
Donald was a U.S. Marine and served in the Vietnam War. Following his military service, he began his lifelong career as a Diesel Mechanic. He retired from Reiter Dairy in Springfield, OH. Donald was a family man. He enjoyed spending time with his family, watching the Cincinnati Bengals and Cincinnati Reds.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy Uchtman and John Heintzman; his daughter, Bridgette Neher; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Mona and Denver Burton; his son-in-law, Justin Gosnell; his siblings, Dorothy Caudill, Lois Hughes, Joni Furnier, Thomas Heintzman and Edward Heintzman.
He is survived by his wife, Dale Heintzman; his children, John (Lacretia) Heintzman, Shannon Brooks, Kristen Gosnell; his grandchildren, Jillian, Hayden, Cameron, Haley, Matthew, Anthony (Brittani), Jacob, Jenna, Jordan, Julianne and Jarret; 10 great grandchildren, his sister, Mary Lou Mansfield. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Sunday, September 10, 2023 from 1:30pm to 3:00pm with services immediately following, all at Newcomer Funeral Home - North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd. Dayton, OH 45424.
The family requests those attending Donald's services to wear Cincinnati Bengals or Cincinnati Reds attire in his memory.
