Donald R. Hampton

Donald R. Hampton, age 78 of Dayton, passed away Saturday, September 16, 2017 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born August 13, 1939 in Virgie, Kentucky to the late Prent and June Hampton.
Donald served in the U.S. Marine Corps for four years. He retired from Chrysler Automotive in 2003.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant son, Chad as well as four sisters and two brothers.
Donald will be missed by his loving wife of 55 years, Mary Hampton; son, Donald Hampton; daughter, Michelle (Scott) Feltner; grandchildren, Zachary and Dylan Feltner; brother, Clarence Hampton; sisters, Doris Burke and Faye (Bob) Gooden; numerous nieces and nephews and his church family at Overlook Church of Christ.
Family will receive friends Wednesday, September 20, 2017 from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1:30 p.m. at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, Ohio. Interment Willow View Cemetery.
