Donald E. Grimes, age 58, passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2016. He was born July 2, 1957 in Berkeley, California, the son of Rodney Grimes and Ruth (Grimes) Doty.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ed and Florence Grimes of Bellbrook
Donald is survived by his two daughters, Brittany Grimes and Dawn Elizabeth Bitner; two sons, Richard and Derrick Grimes; siblings, Dale Grimes (Linda), Threasa Croy (David), five grandchildren, and best friend, Dave Riddle, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 pm on Thursday, July 7, 2016 at Dayton National Cemetery, Dayton, OH.
