Donald E. Greene, 76 of Dayton passed away on March 31, 2021 at Miami Valley Hospital from Covid-19. He was preceded in death by his Father, Ephraim Greene, and Mother Callie Rowland, Brother Jim Greene.
Donald worked in the printing industry most of his life. He worked at McCall's, United Color Press, Johnson Printing, Kappa Graphics, and most recently at Trebnick Systems, Inc. a job he really enjoyed. He also owned his own boat building company Miami Caron Boat Works, and owned his own printing company Exponent Publishers, Inc. in Hagerstown, Indiana. He was in the Army and served as a helicopter crew chief. Don loved to travel, cook, and spend time with his family.
He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Karen (Hechler), Sons Greg Greene (Jennifer) and Mike Greene, Daughter, Heather Greene. Sister, Lillie Wilson, Brother Robert Greene (Shirley). Grandchildren, Matt Greene (Stephanie), Nathan Greene, Jaclynne Greene Deichert (Dan), Dustin Feeman (Destiny), Courtney Coffman. Great Grandchildren, Kia Eyre, Ashton Greene, James Turner, Lucas Feeman, Lily Feeman, Ethan Scott and Cooper Scott.
A memorial service will be held at 3 PM on Saturday, April 17th at Newcomer Funeral Home, Centerville Chapel, 820 Miamisburg-Centerville Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45459. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2-3 PM.
