Pope, Donald F., age 94, of Dayton, passed away on Wednesday, June 25, 2008 at Heartland of Miamisburg. Donald retired from the City of Dayton with over 20 years of service.
Donald is survived by his daughters: Marilyn Bowling of Kettering, Beverly (Dr. Robert) Hamlin of Columbus; 4 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife: Irene in 1989 and his son: Randy in 1991, and his parents: Frank & Minnie Pope.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, June 30, 2008 at Newcomer Funeral Home (South Chapel) 3940 Kettering Blvd., Ketteirng with Pastor Mike Hardin officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 9:00 A.M. until time of services. Graveside services will be held Monday at 1:00 P.M. at Washington Cemetery in Washington Court House, Ohio.
