Donald Evers

EVERS, Donald, age 76, of Huber Heights, passed away February 5, 2013. He was born February 19, 1936 in Dayton, Ohio. Don was employed for many years with Dayton Children's Medical Center. Don was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and was a member of the AMVETS on Leo Street. He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Shirley M. Evers; parents, Elmer and Ellen Evers; one brother, Eugene Evers. Don is survived by his children, Donald Evers Jr., Regina (Ronald) Jordan and Sharon (Jane Bond) Evers; grandchildren, Christina (Michael) Pearson, John Michael (Sarah Martin) Stanforth and Jennifer Stanforth; great-grandchildren, Abigail Welsh, Sydney Bolton, Alex Welsh, Brianna Setty, Joseph Martin and Madyson Stanforth; and three sisters. Visitation will be held Saturday, February 9, 2013 from 2-5 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home (4104 Needmore Rd.). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Dayton Children's Medical Center.
