Donald Duffrin

DUFFRIN, Donald R. age 72, of Fairborn, passed away Friday, December 26, 2008. He was a Vietnam Veteran who retired from the Air Force after 20 years of service, an active member of the VFW post 8437 of Enon, OH, a member of the AMVETS, the Military Order of the Cooties, and #2 Sugar Shacker Fishing Club. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Lorna; daughters, Sheryl, Peggy, and Judy; son, Darrell; 14 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brother, Leon; a niece and numerous nephews. Visitation will be 5-7 PM Sunday, January 4, 2009 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd. Funeral services will be 12:30 PM Monday, January 5, 2009 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Dayton National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton or the American Cancer Society.
