Childers, Donald Damion, "D-Jay", age 30, of Dayton, passed away November 11, 2016.
He was born May 15, 1986 in Dayton, Ohio to Donald L. Childers and Darlene M. Emmons. He attended school in the Tecumseh School District, and he played soccer for the YMCA. D-Jay also played the saxophone for the school band. He loved to write Rap lyrics. He had a very big and kind heart.
D-Jay was preceded in death by his sister, Kacee Childers.
D-Jay leaves to mourn,his father, Donald L. Childers and wife, Marcy, mother, Darlene M. Emmons and husband, Martin Howell; 2 brothers, Joshua Lee (Joyce) Childers, and Bradley James Childers; paternal grandfather, Will Childers; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation 9:30am until 10:30am Thursday, November 17, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home 4104 Needmore Rd., where funeral service will follow at 10:30am. Burial at Willow View Cemetery.
