Donald Jay Bentley, age 60 of Miami Township, passed away Saturday, March 16, 2019 at his home. He was born April 7, 1958 in Dayton, Ohio to the late son of Beecher J. and Iness "Kitty" (Fugate) Bentley.

Don is survived by his children, Sharessa (Robert Crovo) Bentley-Crovo and Justin Bentley; step-son, Scott (Angela) Marcum; grandchildren, Kennedy, Kitty, Chloe, Braydon, Taylor and Alexandria; brother, Dan (Marilyn) Bentley and mother of his children, Gail Redavide as well as many extended family and friends.

Don was 1976 graduate of Bellbrook High School. He installed cable television in late 80's and early 90's and worked as a tow truck driver for many local companies. Don was a skilled tradesmen that was able to work in many different construction fields. He was a proud American that loved spending time with friends and appreciated the simple life. Don was a Reds and UK Basketball fan and enjoyed outdoor activities. As a family man he will always be remembered as the best father and grandfather he could be, someone to always count on and the life of the party.

Family will receive guests from 6:00-8:00 pm Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Kettering. Funeral services will be private at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the family to help offset funeral expenses.
