Bell, Donald Addison, age 79, of Spring Valley, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 11, 2013.
Donald was born April 21, 1933 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Ira & Margaret (Eubanks) Bell. Don was a United States Army Veteran and a 1951 graduate of Fairview High School. He was a former tool maker and machine salesman for NCR, a lifetime member of the NRA and an avid sportsman.
Don is survived by his loving wife of 61 years: Eleanor (Mitchell) Bell; son and daughter-in-law: Wayne Lee (Nancy) Bell; daughter: Valerie Lynne Bell; grandchildren: Joshua (Rebecca) Bell, Andrew (Kristen) Bell, Leah (Jacob) Carroll, Cadence Bell, Carin Bell and Ryan Butts; great grandchildren: Liza, Caleb & Malachi.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home – South Chapel with Pastor Paul Santoro officiating. Interment will follow the service at Woodland Cemetery in Dayton. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday morning from 10:00 A.M. until time of service. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Crespo, the nurses and staff at Miami Valley Hospital for all of their care and support.
