Donald David Adams "Don" "Penoche", age 69 of Dayton, reunited with his late wife, Stephanie "Taffy" Adams on March 1, 2019. He was born on November 21, 1949 in Harrisburg, PA to the late Donald and Gloria Adams.
He is survived by his children, Levi Adams, Julie Hamilton, Carlos (Heather Ray) Miller, Jeff Miller and John (Karen) Miller; 17 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren and numerous extended family and friends.
Don worked as an engineer in research and development at APS Materials. He was a member of the NRA and owned his own business, X-Caliber Firearms. Don loved being outdoors and hunting, a real man's man and an extreme marksman. His passion for his cars exceeds all his hobbies, as he often could be found at car shows or the drag strips racing with his '62 Dodge Dart, which won him 2 Grand Titles. Don also enjoyed riding around in his 23 T-Bucket.
Family will receive friends from 11:30 AM-1 PM on Thursday, March 7, 2019 at Newcomer Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, OH 45432 where a funeral service will begin at 1 PM. Interment will follow the service at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery, Dayton.
