Don W. Pendergrass, 62, of Dayton, passed away on Monday, July 28, 2014 in Columbia, South Carolina. He was born on November 27, 1951, in Dayton, to the late William and Clarabelle (Hardesty) Pendergrass. He was a Veteran of U.S. Air Force.
Don is survived by his Wife of 43 years, Connie Marie (Shoemaker) Pendergrass; Daughter, Dianne (Ray Sr.) Lewis; Brothers, David (Brenda) Pendergrass, Douglas (Sharon) Pendergrass; Sister, Veglinda (Ted) Crutchfield; Grandchildren, Amanda Lewis, Ray Lewis Jr; Step-Grandchildren, Samantha Schwoerer, Shawn VanHoose; numerous nieces, nephews and many good friends.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 PM Sunday, August 3, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home (4104 Needmore Road, Dayton) where funeral services will begin at 1:30 PM Monday. Burial in Dayton Memorial Park with Military Honors.
