Donald Reed Hollon age 58, of Dayton, Ohio passed away February 1, 2019 at his home.
He was born September 16, 1960 in Middletown, Ohio, to the late Earl and Juanita (Gilbert) Hollon.
Donald graduated Carlisle High School in 1978. At the age of 16, he enlisted in the Army where he proudly served his country for over 6 years.
He was a Select Baseball Coach for numerous years in the youth leagues but especially enjoyed coaching his son.
Don was a talented computer technician and carpenter. He loved to cook for his family and friends.
He was a proud and dedicated father of his son, Brian in all his accomplishments. Don met the love of his life, Linda Gottesman, 30 years ago at Governor's Square.
He was preceded in death by his parents Earl and Juanita Hollon and his brother, James Hollon.
Don is survived by loving partner of 30 years, Linda Gottesman; beloved son, Brian (Nia Bramble) Gottesman; siblings, Ronald, Diane (Joe), Rose and Jeff (Carla); adored dog, Macy.
