Dolores Muldoon, age 92 of Dayton, Ohio formerly of Northern Kentucky passed away peacefully on October 23, 2024. She was born December 15, 1931 in Covington, Kentucky daughter of the late Bud and Margaret Streitenberger.
Dolores was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She graduated from Notre Dame Academy. She was a faithful member of Queen of Martyrs Catholic Church for over 40 years. Dolores enjoyed cooking, cake decorating, and bowling. She was the den mother for several years with her daughters girl scouts. She was an avid admirer of Pete Rose and the Big Red Machine. She loved a good prank and enjoyed bringing laughter to those around her. Dolores loved her family and they were her pride and joy. She will be greatly missed by all who had the honor of knowing her.
In addition to her parents, Dolores was preceded in death by her daughter, Robin Robinson; husband, James Muldoon; and brother, Donald Streitenberger.
She is survived by her children, James D. (Mary) Muldoon, Garry (Nancy Boss) Muldoon, Steven Muldoon, Mary "Ruth" (Dennis) Osterfeld, David (Donna) Muldoon, Sue (Bob) Gibson, Michael (Tanya) Muldoon, and Becky (Greg) Myers; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; several other family members and friends.
A visitation will be held on Monday, October 28, 2024 from 5-8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, Ohio 45424.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at 9am at Queen of Martyrs Catholic Church, 4134 Cedar Ridge Road, Dayton, Ohio 45414. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Dolores honor to St. Jude Childrens Hospital and or ALS Association.
