Dolores Irene Farrell

Dolores I. Farrell, age 85 of Bellbrook, passed away June 10, 2017. She was born January 28, 1932 in Dayton to the late Edward and Dorothy (Wellman) Werling. In addition to her parents, Dolores was preceded in death by her husband, Michael E. Farrell Jr.; brothers, Richard Werling and Victor Werling.

She is survived by her 4 children, Michael (Terri) Farrell III, Kathy (Terry McCormick) Farrell, Daniel (Lorrey) Farrell and Edward (Norma) Farrell; grandchildren, Michael Farrell IV, Stephanie Kelly, Kevin Farrell, Kelli Farrell, Nikki Farrell, Dustin Farrell, Michael Farrell; 16 great grandchildren; brother, Raymond (Sandy) Werling and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.

Dolores opened Discovery House Day Care Center in 1975 in Kettering and still is in operation today. She enjoyed being outdoors watching birds, hiking at Sugarcreek Reserve and working out at Curves, where she had many friends. Dolores was an avid bowler, loved cooking for her family and friends and most of all keeping her yard/garden well maintained.
