Dixie L. Kinsler (nee Lannerd), 69, passed away early in the morning of June 7, 2018, with her children by her side.
Born August 26, 1948 in Dayton, Ohio; daughter of the late Anna Mae and Ralph Leo Lannerd Sr. She was the oldest of 6 siblings.
She graduated from University of Dayton with a bachelors in education and pursued her dream of teaching. Upon retiring she spent each day doing what she loved most being a grandma, "Grandma Dixie" and enjoying time with her 8 shitzu pups, she affectionately called "her babies". She loved being outside, working in the yard and was an avid gardener where she spent the last 12 years with roommate and close friend Anne Cleckner.
She is survived by daughters Rhonda Campbell (Jim), Tracy Schlott (Mark) and son Kenny Kinsler (Becky); 6 grandsons, 5 granddaughters and 5 great-grandchildren; sister Diana Densford; brothers Dennis Lannerd; Ralph Leo Lannerd Jr (Buddy) and Danny Ray Lannerd. She is preceded in death by her sister Susan Fields.
A remembrance of Dixie will be held on Saturday, June 16th from 2:00 - 4:00 pm at Newcomer South Chapel 3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439
