HERTOG, Dill J., age 83, passed away on Thursday, September 1, 2011. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Ruth Hertog; children, Diann Kerns (and her late husband, Tim) and Dennis (Amy) Hertog; sister, Martha Sweitzer; grandchildren, Andrew Kerns, Amanda (Lee) Johnson, Allison, Maddie, and Adam Hertog; great grandchild, Liam Johnson, as well as several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Shoup Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 pm on Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hospice of Dayton.
