Dianne Bohardt Piccinino, 64, passed away on September 11 in Bellbrook, Ohio from complications resulting from a stroke she suffered in 2014.
Dianne was born November 18, 1953 in Miami Shores, Florida to Dona Jean (nee Stoecklein) and Robert Bohardt and moved back to the Dayton area in 1955.
After graduation from high school Dianne became involved in the culinary arts and eventually became an accomplished chef for almost 30 years at the Claremont Restaurant in Columbus, Ohio. She was particularly noted for her Dickens Christmas Dinner that she prepared for many years at the Claremont.
Although incapacitated by her stroke, Dianne maintained a good attitude and a great sense of humor during some very difficult times.
Dianne was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents Marguerite and Homer Stoecklein and Blanche and Paul Bohardt, an infant sister Dona and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
She is survived by her brothers David, Joseph, Mark, Robert, Patrick and sisters Barbara and Christine along with a number of cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank all of Dianne's caregivers the last four years for their help and concern.
