Dianne Ruth Parkhurst

Dianne Ruth Parkhurst, age 73, of Beavercreek, passed away on July 27, 2024, in Dayton, Ohio. Born on August 19, 1950, Dianne dedicated her life to caring for others, both in her professional role as a Registered Nurse for 40 years and in her personal life.

Dianne was known for her kindness, generosity, and sense of humor. She brought joy and comfort to everyone around her, making lasting impressions through her caring and loving nature. She was an avid reader and enjoyed playing bingo, Scrabble, and camping. Her passion for genealogy allowed her to connect with and cherish her family's history, while her love for music filled her home with warmth.

She was a proud graduate of Sinclair Community College, which laid the foundation for her successful and fulfilling nursing career.

Dianne was a beloved wife to Donald, a cherished mother to Jennifer and Bryan, and a loving grandmother to Lincoln and William. She is also survived by her siblings Rick, Frank, and Bonnie. She was preceded in death by her parents, Patricia and Bruce, and siblings Janis, Kim, and Robbie.

A memorial service will be held from 5-7 pm on August 6, 2024, at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd. Beavercreek, OH) which is also assisting the family with arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Dianne's memory can be made to Ohio Hospice of Dayton (324 Wilmington Ave. Dayton, Ohio), honoring her commitment to healthcare and community support.
