Diane C. Sauer

Diane C. Sauer, age 68 of Moraine, passed away Monday, April 2, 2018 at Kettering Medical Center. She was born December 30, 1949 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Warren and Yvonne Freed.

Diane is survived by her husband of 48 years, David J. Sauer; daughter, Paige Y. (Chad) Aydelott; grandsons, Mason C. Aydelott and Benson D. Aydelott; brothers, John (Darlene) Freed and Jeff Freed; sister, Nola Irene (Dan) Sommer; sisters-in-law, Kathy (Dave) Shaw and Sue Ann Sauer; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews; her sweet companions, Brody and Izzie; very special friends and family, Dale Willard and Reid Farrell, Mick and Julie Conner, Doug and Joyce Phipps, and Corey and Heather Pion and family, as well as numerous business associates.

Diane was a 1968 graduate of West Carrollton High School and employed by NCR for many years. She was a dedicated and loving wife, mother, Granny and friend. She very much cherished her volunteer work for Frank Nicholas Elementary School and all the time she was blessed to have spent with her precious grandsons. Diane also very much enjoyed the friendships with her neighbors at Kamp Modoc. She will always be remembered for her kindness, sincerity, sense of humor and for being true friend.

Family will receive friends during a memorial gathering from 4:00-7:00 pm Thursday, April 12, 2018 at Newcomer South Chapel, Kettering. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial contributions be made to a favorite reputable children's organization or volunteer for your local school district in her memory.
