Diane Leforce

Diane LeForce, age 70, of Dayton, formerly Middletown, Ohio, passed away on May 9, 2023. She was born on July 26, 1952 in Middletown, Ohio to the late James V. and Joey M. Plumbo. In addition to her parents, Diane was preceded in death by son Stevon S. LeForce; brother Michael J. Plumbo; sister Marianne Plumbo; and late ex-husband Robert E. "Flame" LeForce; her beloved cats Charlie and Minx.

Diane is survived by her daughter Mandy LeForce and her children Ashley Palmer, Sidney Metzger, and Jacob Metzger; great grandchildren Arianna Palmer, and Audrey Palmer; significant friend Gerhard Janetzko; the cat that only she could love, Piper; and numerous other friends and family.

Diane had a big heart and loved all animals, especially cats. She enjoyed spending her time outdoors doing gardening and yard work. Diane loved celebrating all holidays with her impeccable decorating and hosting family and friends. She was an excellent cook and baker. Diane will be remembered for her loving and forgiving nature and missed by all who knew her.
The family will receive friends on Monday, May 15, 2023 from 4 PM to 5 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, Ohio. The memorial service will follow at 5 PM. The family welcomes everyone to enjoy refreshments and fellowship during visitation.
