Diana J. Sims, age 77, of Dayton, Ohio, passed away suddenly on Sunday, March 20, 2022, from pancreatic cancer at Hospice of Dayton. She was born on March 2, 1945 to the late Chappy and Nora May Czaplicki.
She was a former bartender for 28 years at the Polish Club on Valley Street in Dayton, Ohio. Diana had a heart of gold and lived a wonderful life, but touched many hearts across the world with family and friends, including her daughter, Lindsey, who took care of her in Dayton.
In addition to her parents, Diana was preceded in death by her partner of 27 years, Warner Strost, her daughter, Carmen Sims, and her brother, Stanley Czaplicki.
Her memory will be cherished by her children: Lindsey Snell, Terry Czaplicki, and Roy Sims; great-grandsons: Ryan and Bentley Mills; and her sister, Alice Landis.
She will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery with her daughter, at a later date.
