Diana Lynn (Pomianowski) Mann, Age 55, of Dayton, passed away at Hospice of Dayton Thursday May 31st, 2007 at 1:20PM with her family at her side. She is a Wright State University School of Medicine Anatomical Gift Program donor. She was preceded in death by her parents Edward & Ada Pomianowski and grandmother Gladys Hubbard. Diana is survived by her daughter, Melissa Mann of Dayton and Melissa's long-term boyfriend Levi Kemplin of Fairborn, her sister Weigie (Ada Pomianowski) and Christopher Edwards of Beavercreek and her former husband, Mark Mann of Fairborn. Diana was first employed by Travelers Insurance and later worked for Dr. Daneshjoo. After the birth of her daughter Melissa, Diana devoted herself to motherhood while also working in the family business. Her creative spirit flourished in crafts and artistic endeavors, especially basket weaving. Her interest in jewelry led her to a part-time job with Rex TV and Appliance Centers which evolved into a full-time position in the jewelry department at Kohl's Department Store in Beavercreek. Diana's family would like to express a special thanks to her extended family, friends and co-workers at Kohl's Department Store. Your generosity, support and comfort over the years, especially during the past six months, meant the world to Diana and her family. Words cannot adequately express how your visits to home and Hospice touched us all in Diana's greatest time of need. We should all be so lucky as to have friends like Diana's, the very essence of true friendship. Memorial contributions/donations can be made to Hospice of Dayton or Wright State University's School of Medicine. Memorial services will be held at Newcomer Funeral Homes & Crematory, Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Road Beavercreek, OH 45432, (937.429.4700) on Thursday June 14th at 6:00PM with services beginning at 7:00PM, officiated by Dr. Brooks W. Heck.
