Diana Knowlton, age 70 of Dayton, OH went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 9, 2019. She was born July 5, 1948 in Dayton, Ohio to James and Ellen (Pence) Farra. Diana married Vance Knowlton on September 23, 1978 in Rancho Palos Verdes, California.
Diana had an Associates Degree in Interior Design and worked for Dayton Children's Hospital as an Executive Secretary. She was a member of Greenmont-Oak Park Community Church in Kettering where she served on the Church Board. Diana was a prominent person in the Women's Groups in the church and was an integral part of WINGS. She also sang in the church choir and loved to plan church functions and enjoyed decorating. Diana was the matriarch for her family, planning family functions, to include birthdays and holiday get together's. She loved to travel, animals and most importantly, being a Mom.
Diana is survived by her husband of 40 years Vance; a daughter, Ashley Knowlton; a son, Dustin Knowlton; one grandchild, Kylah Studebaker; her mother, Ellen; a brother, Michael Farra; and other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her father; and a sister, Karen Keaton.
A visitation will be held on Friday, March 15, 2019 from 12:30 to 1:30 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432. Funeral Services will follow the visitation at 1:30 pm at the funeral home. Burial will take place following the services at Valley View Memorial Gardens.
