HILL, Dewey G., 70, of Medway, passed away peacefully in his home on May 22, 2013, after a courageous battle with heart disease and cancer.
He was born January 21, 1943 in Cookeville, Tennessee. Dewey was retired from Ernst Enterprises as a ready-mix truck driver for 34 years. He was faithful to God and his church, The Park Layne First Church of God.
Dewey is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Delmarie (Daniels); daughter Kimberly Chandler (Dennis) and son Terry Hill (Jeannette Castle and Jessica); grandchildren, David Robertson (Christa Evans), Christa Robertson and Jacy Hill; great-grandson, Eli, who was the light of his life.
He is preceded in death by his parent's, two sisters and one brother. Visitation will take place at Newcomer Funeral Home in Beavercreek, OH on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a funeral service at 10 AM on Thursday, May 30, 2013.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Vitas Innovative Hospice Care for their loving and compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society, or the Moore, OK tornado victims.
