Dewey B. Hines

Dewey Hines, 85 passed away May 2nd, 2008. Survived by Melba Hines, Beloved wife of 67 years. Sons, Anthony Hines (Nancy), Dwight Hines, Phil Hines. Daughters, Patti Forbes (Bob), Linda Schneider (John). Sister, Troy Reedy. Preceded in death by son Danny. Grandchildren, Cindy (Sam), Danny (Nikki), John (Heather), Nikki (Brian) Christine (Chris), Michael, Alex, Doug, Lisa (Duane). Great Grandchildren, Nicholas, Pete, Andrew, Loukas, Owen, Justice, Maia, Brittany, Ashleigh, Cameron. Dewey was a Veteran of the US Army. A retiree of NCR and GM. Dewey created lots of smiles as Beavercreek's "Longview St. Waver". He was a friend of 1st Lutheran Church. He loved fishing and gardening and spending time with his family. The family extends Great Appreciation to 'all' at Trinity Nursing Home for their "special care" given to "Dewey". The family will receive friends on Tuesday May 6, 2008 from 5-7 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home (Beavercreek Chapel). The funeral will be held on Wednesday May 7, 2008 at 11:00 AM at the funeral Home. Interment will follow at Valley View Memorial Gardens.
