ADKINS, Dewey, age 86, passed away Friday, October 19, 2007. He is preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Clarose; brothers, Chester, Everett, Homer, and Howard; step-brother, Jack DeAutremount; sisters, Elizabeth, Bess, and Mary Lucille. Dewey is survived by his daughter, Debra Reigelsperger; granddaughter, Theresa Hawthorne; sister, Ada Cline of Ashland, KY, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. He was a lifetime member and former Commander of Amvets Post 33, as well as member of the American Legion, VFW, and Eagles. Dewey retired from the U.S. Postal Service after many years of service. He was a WWII Veteran serving in the U.S. Air Force. Funeral services will be 10:00am Tuesday, October 23, 2007 at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek. Family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00pm Monday, October 22, 2007 at the funeral home.
