Devotis Vanderpool

Vanderpool, Devotis "Toad", age 66 of Huber Heights, passed away on Friday, June 1, 2007 at Grandview Hospital. She was born May 27, 1941 in Jackson, KY, the daughter of Homer & Minthie (Niece) Miller. She is preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Bevla Ann Vanderpool. Survivors include her husband Wren Vanderpool; children, John Wren, Larry, Sandra K., Tommy W., Philip R., JoJuana, & Michael W. Vanderpool; 16 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; sister, Lilly Shafer; son-in-law, Kenny; daughters-in-law, Ada, April, Geana; and numerous friends. Devotis was a caring and loving woman and will be missed greatly by her family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, June 6, 2007 at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, OH. Burial will follow at Woodland Cemetery, Dayton. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
