Age 72, born January 5, 1934 in Giles County, Tennessee, passed away at 6:35 a.m., Monday, September 25, 2006. She was a loving wife and mother of six children and two step-children. Dessie was preceded in death by her daughter, Vickie Lynn Harris. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, William Grayford Harris, Sr.; her daughters, Vivian Louise Harris and Teresa Ann Harris and Reba Joyce Jones; her sons, William Grayford Harris, Jr., David Dwayne Harris, John Ray Harris and Raymond Jerry Harris; 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
