Denzil "Denny" Howell, 78, of Huber Heights, passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at Grandview Hospital in Dayton, Ohio surrounded by his family and loved ones.
He was born December 12, 1936 in Hi Hat, Kentucky.
Denny was the eldest child of Granville Howell and Cassie Johnson. He was retired from General Motors Corporation where he worked for over 38 years and was a member of IUE 801.
Denny is survived by his son, Craig Howell and daughter Melissa Howell; six grand-children Andrew, Nicholas, Reece, Derek, Sarah and Amber; brothers Cleve, Carl, and Cecil; and sisters Mag, Madge, Gaye, Ruth and Sue.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February, 4, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, OH 45424. Burial at Dayton National Cemetery will be held on a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Caring Partners International or Diabetes Dayton.
