Denver Stevens

STEVENS, Denver L., 71, of Huber Heights passed away Thursday, February 21, 2008 at his residence. He is preceded in death by his parents and two sons. Denver is survived by his wife of 17 years, Jan Stevens; children Jerry (Anna) Snyder; grandchildren Lisa (Matt) Vick and Andy (Lisa) Snyder; brother Wes (Mary) Stevens; numerous other family and friends. Denver retired from Chrysler after 30 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force with service in the Vietnam and Koren Wars. Denver was a member of Amvets Post #24, VFW Post #9582, Pup Tent 83, 40 & 8, American Legion Post #668, and was a Kentucky Colonel. Funeral services will be held 10:00AM Monday, February 25, 2008 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd, with burial to follow at Dayton Memorial Park. Family will receive friends from 10:00-12:00PM Sunday, February 24, 2008 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
