Dennis E. Philipps, Sr., age 70 of Huber Heights, passed away October 23, 2013. He was born August 6, 1943 in Dayton to the late Charles and Charlotte Philipps. In addition to his parents, Denny was preceded in death by his daughter, Lisa Osmond.
Denny is survived by his wife, Carol Philipps; daughter, Holly (Donnie) Chaney; son, Denny Philipps; son-in-law, Tony Osmond; grandchildren: Kennedy, Korvin, Wyatt and Annie; sister, Charlene Butts; step-mother, Phyllis Philipps; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Denny retired from General Motors after 33 years of service and from the University of Dayton after 10 years.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to United Rehabilitation Center, in Denny's memory.
