Dennis M. Neal, age 67, passed away unexpectedly on March 21, 2024.
Dennis loved life and he never met a stranger. He always had a smile, a twinkle in his eye and a racing story to share. If you ever saw a bad side of Dennis, you are a one-in-a million anomaly.
Born and raised in Dayton, Dennis graduated from Patterson Co-Op High School, Class of 1975, Tool and Die Industry, going on to work as a Toolmaker and Sales Manager for over 50 years. But the highlight of Dennis' life was the time he spent as a professional member of the NASCAR Media, Photographing NASCAR, NHRA, and the INDY Car Series for 30 years. Dennis was also a radio and television personality co-hosting the Shur-Good Racing Report on WLW Radio and hosting "Tech Talk" for Kentucky Speedway.
Dennis is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Ann Bowman Neal; sister Jackie (Bill) Zieger; brother Mike Neal; "special son" Jimmy Supplee; and his best friend and "little brother" Mark Newton.
Interment will take place at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. Services are being held privately. To share a memory of Dennis or to leave a special message for his family, please click the "Share Memories" button.
