Dennis E. Minniear

Dennis Ewing Minniear, age 84 of Englewood, Ohio, passed away Friday, August 21, 2020. He was born July 2, 1936 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Orville and Pauline Minniear.

Dennie was a graduate of Fairview High School and served in the U.S. Army. He worked as a meat cutter for Liberal for 25 years until their closing and then at Meijer until his retirement. Dennie loved his family and enjoyed spending time in the Smoky Mountains.

In addition to his parents, Dennie was preceded in death by his son, Kenneth Minniear.

Dennie will be missed by his loving wife of 58 years, Zela; daughter, Teresa Starr (Roland Mumford); daughter-in-law, Melissa (Benny) Bentley; sister, Darlene Deaton; five grandchildren, Nicole (Adam) Virag, Megan O'Dell, David Starr, Kristen Minniear and Cheryl Minniear; eight great-grandchildren, Devin, Jaiden, Ramsey, Presley, Joseph, Michael, Jenna and Lindsey.

Family will receive friends Wednesday, August 26, 2020 from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m at Northridge Nazarene Church, 2215 Maplegrove Avenue, Dayton, Pastor Christian Williams, officiating. Burial Willow View Cemetery.
