Dennis D. Howe Sr., age 72 of Dayton Ohio, passed away December 5, 2019 at Miami Valley Hospital surrounded by his family. He was born October 6, 1947 in St. Marys Ohio to the late Donald and Naomi Howe.
Dennis was an avid lifetime fan of the Cleveland Browns. He loved all sports, Bingo, poker, keno, and many more. He was a pool shark in which he made many memories and won many trophies. Dennis was a loving husband, son, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He worked hard at everything he did and was loved by all who knew him.
In addition to his parents, Dennis was preceded in death by his son, Ryan D. Howe; granddaughter, Destiny Van Dam, and brothers, Larry Howe and Danny J.Howe.
Dennis is survived by his wife of 44 years, Marilyn Howe, children, Jeffrey (Donna) Van Dam, Christopher Van Dam, Andrea Van Dam, Timothy Van Dam, James Van Dam, Dean Howe, Krista (Ted) Francis, Nicole Howe (Steve Tyson), Dennis Howe Jr., and Melissa (Dustin) Wagers; sister, Joyce Howe; brothers, Thomas (Sally) Howe, Ned and Ted Howe; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home, (3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek Ohio, 45432). Funeral service will begin at 11 am with Deacon Dale De Brosse officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
