Dennis Bolton

Dennis L. Bolton, age 67 of Urbana, formerly of Dayton, passed away September 21, 2014. He was born May 27, 1947 in Dayton to Raymond and Mildred Bolton. Denny was preceded in death by his mother; brother, Steven Bolton; and sister, Sheryl Aker.

In addition to his father, Denny is survived by his wife of 43 years, Denise Bolton; children: Carla (Sam) Gerardi, Kelly (Micah) Barcelo and Wesley (Laura) Bolton; grandchildren: Emily, Alisa, Dustin, Sammy, Kate, Lyla and Henry; sister, Vicki Bolton; brother-in-law, Greg Aker; numerous beloved nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Denny was a lifelong farmer and retired from B.P. Oil Company in 2009. He dedicated his life to his family and hard work.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm on Friday, September 26, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, where the family will receive friends for two hours prior to the service, from 4-6 pm.
