Bailey, Dennis age 90, of Xenia, Ohio passed away on Saturday, November 21, 2020. He was born in LaFollette, Tennessee on April 12, 1930 to the late William Horace and Jessie Bailey (nee Hill).
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 62 years, Dorothy Bailey; daughter, Joann Ison; and brother, Joe Bailey.
Dennis is survived by his son, Dennis R. (Tammy) Bailey, grandchildren, Tim Ison, Chris (Corrie) Bailey, Matt (Elena) Bailey; great-grandchildren, Maddie, Colton, Levi, Makenna, and Lila; siblings, Frank Bailey, Edd Bailey, Linda (Ray) Heatherly; and a host of other family members and friends.
Dennis' pride and joy was his family. He was happy to spend time and hear updates about how his grand and great-grandchildren were doing.
In loving memory of Dennis, contributions may be made to VFW Post 2402, 850 West Second Street, Xenia, Oh 45385.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 1, 2020 from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432. Dennis will be laid to rest at Dayton National Cemetery.
The State of Ohio is under a mandatory mask order and has required that face mask will be worn in all public place.
