Dennis Ashurst, 68 of Vandalia, OH, passed away Friday, October 22, 2021, in Cincinnati. He was born March 8, 1953 in Kettering, OH to the late Dennis and Susan Frieszell
Left to cherish Dennis' memory are his sons, Derek Ashurst and Shawn Terry; brothers Mark (Mark), Dave (Deb), Jon (Carolyn) Ashurst; sister, Mary (Patrick) Dinneen; grandchildren: Carlie and Liam Terry; and several other relatives and friends.
Dennis was a retired mechanical engineer who loved bowling, boating, watching football, and relaxing whenever possible. Most of all, Dennis enjoyed spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, Dennis was preceded in death by his loving wife Jean (Chapman) Ashurst, whom he adored tremendously.
A gravesite ceremony will be held Friday, November 19th, 2021 at 10:30am at Calvary Cemetery.
Donations in Dennis's memory may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
