Denise Nicole Thomson

On September 25, 2017, Denise Nicole Thomson passed away due to complications from a liver transplant surgery she received on July 31, 2017.

Denise was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, June and Jerry Mongelli, and maternal grandparents Rosemary and Fritz Sambill.

She is survived by her husband Jack; her parents Judy and Jerry Mongelli; her brother, Steven Mongelli; and nieces and nephew. Denise was a loving daughter, wife, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend.

She had a spirit that was all about enjoying life to the fullest and spending time with her family and friends. Denise was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Ohio State Buckeyes football fan. Denise enjoyed sharing her spirit for life with family, friends, co-workers, and customers. She was an exceptional listener and would not hesitate to give advice. Denise, your spirit will forever shine upon us all and we will always cherish the time we spent with you. Rest peacefully and we look forward to the time where we will be able to be with you again in Heaven.

Public services will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home in Beavercreek on Saturday, September 30th from 2pm-4pm. A funeral service will be held directly afterwards at the funeral home.

The family is requesting that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Greene County Special Olympics. Checks can be made out to Greene County Special Olympics, PO Box 73, Xenia, OH 45385. Please specify that the donation is in memory of Denise.
