Denise "Dee" Presley, a remarkable woman filled with love and joy, was born on May 21, 1954, in Troy, OH. She walked through life with a spirit that touched everyone around her, making each moment a celebration of kindness and love. Dee graced us with her vibrant presence, infectious laugh, and a warmth that made every moment memorable until her departure from this world on February 9, 2025, in Dayton, OH.
Dee built a fulfilling career as a dedicated employee at Kroger, retiring after a remarkable 36 years of service, where she became known not just for her work ethic but for her generous heart and friendly smile. She graduated from Tecumseh High School and carried the lessons learned throughout her life, passing on wisdom to her family and friends.
Her personality was nothing short of a brilliant sunbeam; she was giving, joyful, loving, and caring. Dee cherished her family above all else. She leaves behind her beloved husband, Tom Presley, who was her partner in every adventure. Together, they created a home filled with laughter and warmth. Dee was also the proud mother of Jason (Staci) Presley and Brent (Dakota Patton) Presley and together with her sister Janet (Ray) Cupp, they have continued her legacy of love and kindness. Her family grew even richer with the addition of her three rambunctious grandchildren, Isaac, Ethan, and Claire Presley, who brought her immense joy.
Dee had a zest for life that transcended the everyday; she adored traveling and being in nature, always seeking the beauty of the world around her. Baking was another passion of hers, with delicious treats that became a staple during family gatherings, showcasing her love not just through ingredients but in every shared bite. Her fondest moments were spent in the company of her grandchildren, where stories and laughter were shared and memories that would last a lifetime were created.
Denise is now reunited in spirit with her beloved parents, Marcetta and Henry Warden, and her dear brother, Tom Warden. Their legacy lives on in the compassion and joy that Dee spread throughout her life.
A joyful celebration of her life will be held on Friday, February 14, 2025 at North Huber Heights Baptist Church, located at 6193 Taylorsville Road in Huber Heights, OH. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM, followed by a heartfelt funeral service at 12:00 PM.
Dee will be laid to rest at Maple Hill Cemetery in Tipp City, OH.
