Denise Marie Miller

Denise Marie Miller, age 52, of Huber Heights, passed away on January 8, 2021, at Miami Valley Hospital. She was born in Dayton, Ohio, on June 13, 1968, the daughter of the late Ronald Miller, Sr. and Sonya Miller.

She was preceded in death by her father; granddaughter, Kendell Marie Boocher; and her former companion, Scott Nail.

Denise is survived by her loving children, Jennifer (John) Shaw, Terry (Jill) Shaw, Jr., Jamie (Eric) Boocher, Jessica (Cory) Shaw, Jodie Shaw and Jaidyn Miller; her mother, Sonya Miller; grandchildren, Chelsea, Mackenzie, Taylor, John, Lexi, Kayla, Hailey, Kendall, Joshua, Zachary, Andrew, Emma and Michael; brother, Ron Miller, Jr.; nephew, Mercy Miller; and many other loving family and friends.

In her free time, she enjoyed reading, cooking and playing games. Her time spent with her grandchildren was the most special to her. Denise never knew a stranger, she had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone she loved.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 16th, 2021, from 10:00am-11:00am, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, where services will begin at 11:00am. Burial of her ashes will be held at a later date at Willow View Cemetery.
