Demaris M. Martin

Demaris M. Martin, loving wife and mother, age 60 of Dayton, passed away Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at Kettering Medical Center. She was born November 2, 1956 in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of the late Richard and Joyce Kohlbacher.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her sisters, Florence "Tootsie" Russell and Charlotte Haskell; nephews, Billy and T.J. Meadows.

Demaris is survived by her husband of 38 years, Terry; two sons, Ronald (Jennifer) Martin of Tampa, FL, Travis (Mandy Waters) Martin of Lebanon, OH; five grandchildren, Jared, Aeris, Zoe, Landon and Lyra Martin, Daniel Sain, Lexi Collins; brothers, Richard (Marlene) Kohlbacher, Tony Kohlbacher; as well as a host of relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be from 5 pm to 7:30 pm on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home - North Chapel (4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45424). Service will begin at 7:30 pm. Please consider a donation to the American Cancer Society or the Humane Society of Dayton in Demaris' memory.
