Delores J. Swank

Delores J. "Dee" Swank, age 78, of Dayton, passed away at home, surrounded by her family on June 27, 2024. Delores was born in Dayton, Ohio on October 5, 1945 to the late Russell and Lucile Dedrick.

Delores is preceded in death by her parents; husband of 19 years, Danny Swank; sister, Helen Roe and her brother, Jim Dedrick.

She is survived by sister, Joyce (Jim) Huitt; daughter, Neysa (Travis) Moore; grandchildren, Brittany Montel, Sydney, Taylor, and Reese Moore; and her great-grandchildren, Benjamin and Landon Montel. 

Delores was military spouse, her husband having served in the U.S. Air Force. She attended Ginghamsburg Church in Tipp City for many years. In her free time, she enjoyed reading, quilting, puzzles and spending time with her family. 

Delores was a wonderful mother and a great sister. She was very committed to her family. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Delores' memory to Hospice of Dayton (324 Wilmington Ave, Dayton).

A celebration of life will be privately held by the family at a later date.
